is an Ohio based private investment and research firm. The groundwork for TheoryInMotion was started in June of 1999 by Steven Biars. At just 14, the original plan was simply to earn enough money from websites to be able to go out with friends to the movies on weekends. However, much has changed since our humble beginings. Today, TheoryInMotion focuses on creating and operating best-in-class web properties. The structure of TheoryInMotion has allowed us to test many ideas at once and turn the best of them into industry leading websites. TheoryInMotion continues to explore a range of technology frontiers. New models for improving the search experience are at the core of several projects currently under development. Moving beyond the Internet, we have spawned breakthrough technologies in weather prediction, astronomical research, and national defense.
